Designed by 2007 LBJ/LASA Graduate, Allison Guzzino Created by the Art One students of Liza Feldkamp, 2006-2007
Inspired by the Art Nouveau movement of the turn of the 20th century, this wall hanging was designed to extol the contributions of the Fine Arts programs at LBJ High School, and to celebrate the construction of our beautiful new theatre. More than 150 LBJ and LASA students collaborated to prepare fabric, draw, cut, pin and sew each detail of the tapestry.
Special thanks are extended to: -Cravotta Studios for the donation of countless fabric samples
-Mark Cunningham for the poignant title, which reminds that the arts are integral to education, synthesizing knowledge from all content areas to bring learning to a higher plane.
